 Mr. Ambacher is the Assistant Managing Partner of the McNamara Law Firm. He attended Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington (B.B.A., 1986) and Santa Clara University (J.D., 1989), where he was a Comments Editor for the Santa Clara Law Review, before his admittance to the California State Bar in 1989. He specializes in real estate litigation including defense of landslide, soil movement, water intrusion and flooding, easement, and property line dispute cases; landlord-tenant litigation; personal injury and property damage defense; product liability defense; defense of environmental claims; and defense of public entities in a wide variety of personal injury, dangerous condition of public property, and civil rights claims. Mr. Ambacher is a member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association, the State Bar of California, and the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California & Nevada, including having served on the Board of Directors, and has been a speaker at several seminars on various litigation topics. Mr. Ambacher also serves as a volunteer mediator with the Contra Costa County Superior Court and conducts private mediations. In his spare time, Mr. Ambacher can be found swimming, biking, and running as he trains for marathons and triathlons. |
