Richard M. McNeely


A Walnut Creek native, Mr. McNeely obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of California (Criminology, 1971) and his law degree from the University of San Francisco (Juris Doctris, 1975).  He was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1976.  Mr. McNeely has been active in public service and served as Mayor and Council Member of the Town of Danville on its very first council.  Mr. McNeely holds a private pilot’s license, a SCUBA certification and is a member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute and the Northern California Association of Defense Counsel.  He is Chancellor of the Western Diocese of his church and Counsel to the Mt. Diablo Silverado Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
