Thomas G. Beatty
Mr. Beatty began his career with Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison in San
Francisco and joined the McNamara firm in 1979. He has been Managing Partner
since 1984. A graduate of Georgetown University Law Center (J.D., 1977)
and the University of California at Berkeley (B.A. Political Science,
1974, B.A. Journalism, 1974), Mr. Beatty has been practicing law since
his admittance to the California Bar in 1977. He served as Associate Clerk
to The Honorable Robert Kunzig, US Court of Claims in Washington, D.C.
from 1976 to 1977 (now the Court of Appeals for Federal Circuit). He has
also served as Judge Pro Tem for Contra Costa Superior Court. He was a
member of the City Council of Antioch, California from 1984 to 1986, and
is a member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association, the State Bar
of California and has served as a Board Member for the Association of
Defense Counsel of Northern California. He is a member of the American
Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He was voted 2005 Defense Attorney of
the year by the San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association and is listed
as a Northern California Super Lawyer. |
